EOC Test Prep is an end-of-course exam preparation program provided to your family at no cost by your school district. Your child can meet daily during the school week with a tutor who will walk them through test-taking strategies and test items to help them become a more confident test-taker. Students who need more flexibility can work through the online program at their own time and pace and get help from tutors as needed.

By the end of this program, your student will have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed on end-of-course exams, and, ultimately, make it to high school graduation! Here’s how it works:

  • Students meet with their tutor every weekday for 30 minutes via Google Meet to cover the subject(s) they need help with — English, math, or science. 

  • During small-group tutoring sessions, the tutor covers test-taking strategies and reviews real test items so the students can understand how course concepts translate into exam questions. 

  • Tutors also provide practice exercises students can complete on their own time to further strengthen their test-taking skills.

Program Overview

EOC Test Prep offers test prep programs in four subjects: English I, English II, Algebra I, and Biology. You’re welcome to sign up for tutoring in as many subjects as you want. We also offer three modalities: live, hybrid, and online. 

  • Live — 30-minute live sessions with a tutor every weekday + access to online exercises and content (4 weeks)
  • Hybrid — Weekly live group and drop-in sessions; the majority of the program is online combined with live sessions for June testing
  • Online — Recommended ”power” sessions with a tutor; the program is online unless the student opts for power sessions (4 weeks)
